So a couple of weeks ago I signed up to get some sample Moocards and then I totally forgot about them until I got them in the mail today! They are really very cute and I think I'll be signing up to buy a set of 100. I just need to take some good photos or something to put on them.
I find it funny that I don't care about showing my cell phone # but I felt I had to blur out my email address. I guess I am more fond of my email than my phone-- but once you start getting spam emails it's the beginning of the end!
I can't stop watching that video of otters holding hands. I guess it was all the rage several months ago but I seem to have missed it somehow.. but it's so cute, especially at the end! Here it is in case there is anybody else out there who hasn't seen it yet.
I saw Spider-man 3 last night and it was alright, but we were especially excited to see the trailer for Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix. Mika & I are going to dress up for the movie and book release and originally we had planned on making (from scratch!) some Quidditch uniforms but as July nears we are realizing we might not have enough time to do all that. So we might settle for the regular school uniforms + making robes, which would be infinitely easier... but we'll see. I'm still deciding if I should go as Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. I did see some Gryffindor/Trojan chuck taylors (maroon with gold trim)... Also if I have enough time I'd like to try to make an invisibility shawl. If I run out of time I guess as long as I finish it by winter it should be okay.
My supervisor at work has suggested that I might be depressed, and left me some pamphlets on seeking counseling. How do you know if you're depressed? I don't feel sad or anything, just overwhelmed by an oppressive feeling of ennui. (haha!) But regardless of whether I am or not, I think I'm going to try it out and see how it is. It's something new, y'know? Maybe it'll do me good to talk to someone who's not a friend.

I'm sorely tempted to get an imac (20") but then I realized that my desk is covered with so much crap that I'd have nowhere to put it. In my 27 years I have amassed SO MUCH STUFF I've no idea what to do with it all anymore. I sometimes have dreams of a stark white bedroom with nothing in it but a bed and desk. But I think the only option left to me is: move to a bigger place. (What? Stop buying stuff, you say? What, no, silly, I could never do that..)
I find it unbearably cute when I realize that that odd sound I hear is my dog snoring.
So that I can buy stuff from anthropologie! Sure some of their stuff is kind of weird and all of it is overpriced but every now and then they have some really cute things.

I'm also interested in a game for DS that I don't think is out yet, called Wish Room (or in the US: Hotel Dusk: Room 215). Sigh, when I was younger I never had money to buy the games I wanted; now that I'm older (and slightly richer) there's TOO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM!!!
